After some blood, sweat, and tears, Charlie’s Chess Club is
proud to announce we have gone legit. We have officially launched our own website. Right now the website is in its infancy,
currently it has some content, but we plan on adding much more. At the moment our plan is to add something
new at least a couple of times a month.
Especially, in the next couple of months, so please visit us often. Some of things you can expect to see on our
site in the future are: a periodical, an online form for tournament entry,
links to useful sites, a Q&A section
from questions I have received from students, and much more. Right now, the website has only been tested
using chrome and explorer, as we add new content we are only going to ensure it
renders properly using chrome. I wrote
the site primarily in HTML5 so firefox and other web browsers may not be able
to properly display all of the dynamic content.
The url for the site is:
So what happens to the blog?
We’ll still use the blog for posting tournament announcements and
results, also for other updates.
For the first part of the year, the focus has been trying to
launch this site. Now that’s its up and
running, we are going to refocus our energy on running events. So we hope to see you soon!
